Eyes of an Angel

John Travolta is a destitute single father struggling to raise his daughter in a harsh Chicago neighborhood. The young girl comes upon and later nurtures back to health a wounded Doberman used for combat. Duped by the underworld figures for whom he was working as a messenger, father and daughter abandon the dog and run across the nation to Los Angeles, pursued by both canine and mobsters.
