Heat of Desire

In a not-too-distant future France, anarchy and revolution break out. Philippe Muphand, a politician on the right, was about to assume power when his girlfriend Caroline dumped him, saying she was going to start dating the first dummy she met. Professor and award-winning author Serge Laine is on his way to the railway station to purchase tickets to Barcelona, where he and his wife will spend a second honeymoon and he will speak at the university. After falling under Caroline's spell, Serge gave up his family, career, and integrity in favor of her, the romanticism of Jack London, and murder.
