Pete's Dragon

For a long time, old wood-carver Mr. Meacham has reveled local children with his stories of this fierce monster which resides deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. For his daughter, Grace, that acts like a forest ranger, all these stories are little more than tall stories... until she meets Pete, a mystical 10-year-old without a family and no dwelling that claims to reside in the forests with a giant, green monster named Elliott. And out of Pete's descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to this drag on by Mr. Meacham's stories. With the aid of Natalie, an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack owns the local lumber mill, where Pete came out of, where he belongs, and the truth concerning this dragon, Grace sets out to figure out.
