The Adventure of Denchu-Kozo
The other boys at Hikari's school pick on him and tease him because he has the peculiar distinction of having an electrical pole sprouting out of his back. This makes him an easy target for harassment and ridicule. On the other hand, a fellow student named Momo, who was one of his classmates, comes to his aid. As a way of expressing his gratitude toward her, Hikari gave her his most prized possession: a time machine. After that, he turns on the time machine, which whisks him away to a gloomy, dystopian world of the future 25 years in the future. There, he runs into members of the Shinsengumi Vampire Gang who are on the quest for a woman named Dr. Sariba. It turns out that Dr. Sariba is Momo's future self. She reveals to Hikari that she had been waiting for his return from the past for a very long time and that he has an important part to play in this situation; in fact, he is the only one who can rescue the world.
