The Current

Jake enjoys his life in Chicago, but when big city violence strikes too close to home, his parents purchase a campsite in rural Minnesota and relocate the family. Jake despises camping until he meets Peter, the lad across the river. The two quickly become great friends and spend a summer on the river having a blast together. Peter explains his Christian faith to Jake during one of their chats. Jake uses his newfound faith to assist a friend during a difficult time in his life.
