The Homesman

When three children residing on the edge of the American frontier are driven mad with pioneer life, the duty of saving them falls into the independent-minded Mary Bee Cuddy. Transporting the women from wagon to Iowa, she utilizes George Briggs, a low life drifter, to combine with her, and soon realizes just how intimidating that the travel is going to be. Where a waiting minister along with his wife have agreed to take the ladies in, the three women and the unlikely pair go east. But the harsh Nebraska Territories indicated emotional danger with crude beauty and hazard must be first traversed by the group.
