Veronika Voss

Veronika Voss, a German film actress, becomes a heroin addict in Munich in1955, thanks to the dishonest Dr. Marianne Katz, who keeps her supplied with morphine. Veronika begins to fantasize about a comeback after meeting sports journalist Robert Krohn. Veronika begins seriously preparing her comeback to the screen as the couple's connection intensifies, only to realize how incapacitated she has become as a result of her drug addiction.
