WWE SummerSlam 2022

SummerSlam 2022 was WWE's 35th annual SummerSlam professional wrestling event. It was only open to wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions of the WWE. The event was broadcast on pay-per-view (PPV) around the world and livestreamed through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network overseas. SummerSlam 2022 was held on Saturday, July30,2022, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, and was the first SummerSlam not hosted in August. This was also the first WWE PPV event following the retirement of WWE owner Vince McMahon, who had served as the company's Chairman and CEO since 1982.
