Meteor Garden
Meteor Garden is a 2001 Play starring Vanness Wu, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Barbie Hsu and Ken Chu. It relies on Western sh?jo manga show, Boys Over Flowers, written by Yoko Kamio. Comic Ritz International Production with Angie Chai as manufacturer produced it and directed by Cai Yuexun.
The show was broadcast in Taiwan on Chinese Television System that is freetoair April 2001 August 2001. An additional mini series, Meteor Rain was first stated in April 2001 and the sequel Meteor Garden II has been broadcast out of 11 November 2002 to 25 December 2002. The show is your first Live Action television adaptation of this manga, followed with its sequel Meteor Garden II and Japanese Hana Yori Dango, its own sequel Hana Yori Dango Returns and South Korean Boys .
At the series' close, F4 Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu continued to perform and published three studio records as quartet boy band F4. They stopped the usage of this name"F 4" at 2007 at the objection of Japanese publisher Shueisha, who owns the copyright to Hana Yori Dango, in order to avoid any confusion with the Western and South Korean form of the live action adaptations of this manga. The group has since been renamed"JVKV", from the very first initial of this quartet in order of age.
