Packed to the Rafters
Packed to the Rafters can be an Australian television show that premiered on the Network on Tuesday 26 August 2008 at 8:30 pm. The show has continued to Tuesdays in this time slot for its whole run. The drama show features a combination of comedy. It revolves round the Rafter family confronting work stresses and life issues, whilst also tackling issues that are serious. The Logie award winning show has been the maximum evaluation and also the show has consistently been among the top five shows of this season.
This had been announced in TV Week which the sixth season of Packed to the Rafters would be the last, with Hugh Sheridan saying:"It is emotional letting go of Rafters -- for us. This had been such an incredible chapter in Aussie TV. I'm really proud we came back together to send it off." Rafters' series finale aired on 2 July 2013, that saw the return of Jessica Marais, Hugh Sheridan, Ryan Corr, Jessica McNamee and James Stewart. Rebecca Gibney said,"The cast, producers and writers have always said we wanted to maintain Rafters as one of those most-watched shows on TV. If we felt as though we were losing too many cast members, we had to end it on a top. We can declare season six winds up an aspect of this Rafter family and there's a feeling of finality to it."
