The X Factor
The X Factor is a Australian television reality music competition, based on the UK series. The very first collection of the series has been broadcast in February to May, nevertheless, since the series it's been broadcast before grand final in November from July/August. The X Factor is Made by FremantleMedia Australia, and is currently broadcast on the Seven Network. The title"xfactor" identifies a singing talent which can be"exceptional" and"something" that makes for celebrity caliber. Network Ten held rights in 2005 for The xfactor, but dropped the series after the series due to poor evaluations. This year, the Network went into a"bidding war" to gain rights for its series, also won and a second series went into production. The X Factor has been revived following there was a Australian Idol no more broadcast through Network Ten. It is broadcast in New Zealand on TV3. Two series of those Xtra Factor were broadcast at 2010 in 7Two and 2005 through Network Ten. The series wasn't renewed for a third series in 2011.
The original panel lineup at 2005 contained Mark Holden, Kate Ceberano, and John Reid. After the series was restored in 2010, the panel has been replaced by Ronan Keating, Guy Sebastian, Natalie Imbruglia, and Kyle Sandilands. Imbruglia and Sandilands failed to go back for show three and were replaced by Melanie Brown and Natalie Bassingthwaighte. Redfoo and dannii Minogue combined the board as replacements for Brown and Sebastian at the series. During the televised audition phases of this xfactor, originally the contestants sang in a"dinning room" in front of simply the judges, but in the series two onwards most auditionees sing on stage in a stadium, facing the judges and a live crowd. The activities that are successful then progress to the next stage of their competition,"bootcamp" and later"home visits", at which the judges narrow down their category to three actions who'll carry on to the live shows, where the people vote for their favourite act, after weekly performances by the contestants.
