Friends & Lovers

A group of twenty-somethings who have been friends for ten years head to the ski slopes as Ian's father's guests. (Ian and his father are alienated since Ian's father worked too many hours as a child.) Ian refuses to hear what his father has to say. Meanwhile, David is gay and virginal; Ian's business colleague, Keaton, is upset that his sister Jane is pregnant and has no plans to inform the father; Lisa is everyone's friend but no one's lover; and John, who is stuck in adolescence, is constantly on the move. Carla, a German-born beauty, is introduced, and she quickly falls in love with Hans, a fast-talking ski instructor. Manny and David have a chess game in common. As relationships take new directions, there will be plenty of surprises.
