Spring Eddy

Eddy is on the run, a small-time Chicago crook with a flair for dim-witted plots. After robbing his boss, Eddy flees to Mexico, but is distracted on the way by a gorgeous hitchhiker. What started as an innocent tryst ends with Eddy bruised, broken, and impoverished in Wynot, TX. After watching Willet Nash, the county's all-powerful Sheriff, commit a murder, Eddy attempts to hold up a bank and flee, but his blundering scheme backfires and he is apprehended by Nash himself. Eddy's sole hope of escaping prison alive is his fiancée Jeannie, whom he abandoned at the alter in Chicago.
