Symphony on Skis

An adventurous ski scenic tour of two sis, that adhere to the tracks of their father, across the pristine landscape of New Zealand. Three decades earlier, Gottlieb Braun-Elwert set out on an un-chartered exploration. He conquered the significant glaciers of the Southern Alps as well as went across 40km and also 4000 upright meters, from the heart of the South Island to the Pacific in simply 18 hours. A path of unbelievable beauty, immense freedom, awesome panoramas and also the threat of the uncontainable nature. He called this path "Symphony on Skis". Now, his children Carla, Elke and also a little team of travelers embark on the same experience. This movie is a tribute to their late father that found a love and also home in New Zealand's Southern Alps.
