What Did the Lady Forget?

A teacher, Komiya, and also his bossy better half, Tokio, are to care for Setsuko, their high-spirited niece from Osaka. Regardless of being a small, Setsuko is a liberated woman who does whatever she wants, including smoking. She even persuades Koyima to take her to a geisha home. When she obtains instead tipsy, the teacher calls Okada, one of his trainees, to take her house. The spouse becomes dubious of Setsuko when she sees Okada bringing her residence.
