The Wicker Tree

Director Robin Hardy's reimagining of his spooky 1973 film, The Wicker Guy. Youthful Christians Beth and Steve, a gospel vocalist and also her cowboy sweetheart, leave Texas to teach door-to-door in Scotland. When, after initial misuse, they are welcomed with happiness and elation to Tressock, the border fiefdom of Sir Lachlan Morrison, they assume their hosts simply want to hear more regarding Jesus. How innocent as well as incorrect they are.
